Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Furniture360 website at furniture360.co.za, or by placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use our website or services. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or place an order.

Furniture360 reserves the right to update or change these terms at any time. The date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of our website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECT Act). Nothing in these terms is intended to limit any right you have under applicable South African consumer protection legislation.

Our Products

Furniture360 sells furniture and related home goods to customers across South Africa. We make every effort to display our products as accurately as possible, including dimensions, colours, materials, and finishes.

Colour and appearance

Product images on our website are as accurate as we can make them, but colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen's calibration. If you are unsure about a colour match or finish, please contact us before placing your order — we are happy to provide additional photos or clarification.

Product availability

All products are subject to availability. We do our best to keep stock information up to date, but in the event that an item you ordered is out of stock, we will contact you within 2 business days to discuss alternatives, a back-order timeline, or a full refund.

Dimensions

All dimensions listed on product pages are approximate. Minor variations may occur due to manufacturing tolerances. We strongly recommend measuring your space before ordering, particularly for larger pieces like dining sets, wardrobes, and couches.

Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products at the listed price. Your order is only confirmed once you receive an order confirmation email from us.

Order confirmation

You will receive an automated confirmation email once your order is placed. This confirms that we have received your order — it does not yet confirm that the item is in stock or that the order has been accepted. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion, in which case you will receive a full refund.

Order accuracy

It is your responsibility to review your order details before submitting. Please ensure the delivery address, contact number, and selected items are all correct. If you notice an error after placing your order, contact us immediately at info@furniture360.co.za or on WhatsApp at 061 893 1271 — we will do our best to accommodate changes before the order is dispatched.

Cancellations

You may cancel an order at no charge before it has been dispatched. Once an order has been dispatched, our returns policy applies. To cancel, please contact us as soon as possible using the details above.

Pricing & Payment

Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges, if any, are calculated separately at checkout and will be clearly shown before you confirm your order.

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time without prior notice. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

Pricing errors

We take care to ensure that pricing is accurate, but errors may occasionally occur. If we discover a pricing error on an order you have placed, we will contact you before processing it. You will have the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel your order for a full refund. We are not obligated to fulfil an order at an incorrect price.

Payment

Payment is required in full at the time of ordering unless otherwise arranged. We accept the payment methods listed at checkout. All transactions are processed securely through our payment gateway. Furniture360 does not store your card details.

EFT and bank transfer

If paying by EFT, your order will only be processed once payment has cleared in our account. Please use your order number as the payment reference and send proof of payment to info@furniture360.co.za.

Delivery

Delivery areas

We deliver across South Africa. Delivery fees and estimated lead times vary depending on your location and the size of the items ordered. Delivery costs will be calculated and shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.

Delivery timeframes

Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Factors such as stock availability, courier delays, and your location can affect delivery times. We will keep you updated and will notify you if there is a significant delay.

  • Gauteng and major urban areas — typically 3 to 7 business days
  • Other provinces and outlying areas — typically 5 to 10 business days
  • Remote or rural areas — please enquire before ordering as additional lead time and charges may apply

Delivery responsibility

Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery at the provided address. If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to no one being available, re-delivery fees may apply. Furniture360 is not liable for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect address details provided at checkout.

Inspection on delivery

We strongly recommend that you inspect all items carefully at the time of delivery, before signing any delivery documentation. If you notice any damage, please note it on the delivery paperwork and contact us within 24 hours. Damage reported after this window may not be covered.

Large and assembled items

Certain large items are delivered flat-packed and will require self-assembly. Assembly instructions are included. Where we offer an assembly or installation service, this will be indicated on the product page and quoted separately.

Returns & Exchanges

Your right to return under the CPA

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, you have the right to return goods that are defective, not fit for purpose, or not of acceptable quality. In these circumstances, you may return the item within 6 months of delivery for a repair, replacement, or refund at your option.

Change of mind returns

If you have simply changed your mind, we will consider a return request provided:

  • The item is returned within 7 days of delivery
  • The item is unused, unassembled, and in its original packaging
  • You have your proof of purchase

Change of mind returns are subject to a return delivery fee, which will be deducted from your refund. Custom-made or special-order items cannot be returned for change of mind.

Damaged or incorrect items

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at info@furniture360.co.za with photos of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible at no additional cost to you.

How to initiate a return

  2. Provide your order number and describe the reason for the return
  3. We will assess the request and confirm next steps within 2 business days
  4. Once the return is approved, we will arrange collection or provide return instructions
  5. Refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days of the returned item being received and inspected

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. We are not able to refund to a different account or card than the one used at checkout.

Warranty

All Furniture360 products carry the standard warranty implied by the Consumer Protection Act against manufacturing defects. Beyond this, specific warranty terms vary by product and supplier and will be noted on the relevant product page where applicable.

What is covered

  • Structural defects in materials or workmanship present at the time of purchase
  • Components that fail under normal, intended use within the warranty period

What is not covered

  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or negligence
  • Normal wear and tear, including scratches, fading, or fabric pilling
  • Damage caused by improper assembly or failure to follow care instructions
  • Modifications made to the product after purchase
  • Damage caused by exposure to moisture, direct sunlight, or extreme temperatures beyond the product's intended use

To make a warranty claim, please contact us with your order details and a description of the issue. We may ask for photographs before arranging an inspection or replacement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Furniture360's liability for any claim arising from a purchase or use of our website is limited to the purchase price of the goods in question.

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage
  • Loss of income, business, or opportunity arising from any delay, error, or unavailability
  • Damage caused by events outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, load shedding, floods, or industrial action

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act or any other applicable South African legislation.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Furniture360 website — including but not limited to product photographs, text, branding, logos, graphics, and the overall site design — is the property of Furniture360 or its content suppliers and is protected by South African and international copyright law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, or use any content from our website for commercial purposes without our express written permission. Personal, non-commercial use is permitted provided that all copyright and ownership notices remain intact.

Website Use

You agree to use the Furniture360 website only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Use the site in any way that could damage, disrupt, or impair its performance
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems or servers
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract content or data from the site without permission
  • Post or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent
  • Impersonate Furniture360 or any of our staff

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to our website for any user who breaches these terms.

While we make every effort to keep the site available and error-free, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for any loss caused by temporary unavailability of the website.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from these terms or from a transaction with Furniture360 will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

We encourage you to contact us directly before escalating any dispute. Most issues can be resolved quickly and amicably through direct communication. If a resolution cannot be reached, you also have the right to approach the National Consumer Commission or your relevant provincial consumer affairs office.
